The PhD Thesis „Dialogic Coding – A Performance Practice for Co-Creative Computer Improvisation“ was examined, revised and is now available for reading!

At Tuesday, 10th of January 2017, I will present my research practice about Live Dialogic Coding at MMU Cheshire, Crewe Campus. In Studio 0-24, 19:00
This will feature some short musical performances and some talking.

Niko LFO (aka Shaddah) and myself are working on the new version of the SUM controller/instrument!
Previous appearances were at the designtransfer exhibition, UdK Berlin, June 2015 and at LEAP performance space, Berlin, february 2015.

I visited and performed twice at the ICLC 2015.
Three days packed with events, talks, performances. Two nights of algorave. Many interesting discussions and workshops. Thanks to the organisors. We are all looking forward to McMaster’s hosting in Canada, 2016!

I performed with BiLE at the Network Music Festival this September:
BiLE (Birmingham Laptop Ensemble) are a collaborative group of composers and performers of instrumental and electroacoustic music. Six artists were brought together through their shared interest in live performance and desire to perform and improvise together in an interactive ensemble. BiLE has an open attitude towards experimentation with sound, allowing members of the group to bring their own tools and musical experience to the ensemble.…

Following Up from our Rebellious Devices Experience, Graham Booth and I develop „Chinese Whispers“ an installation for five hacked megaphones and two performers. An attempt at a networked multiplayer instrument.
This was presented at XcoaX Conference, Porto (Portugal) 2014. It had its premiere in Crewe at my 2013 November Noise Concert.
